Jotiba Dakkhan Hill Half Marathon 2026 - Edition 6

This event, the Jotiba Dakkhan Hill Half Marathon 2026 - Edition 6, is set to take place at the Jotiba Temple. This holy shrine of Lord Kedarnath is ensconced on a hill at a height of 3124 feet above sea level, located 18 km to the north-west of Kolhapur city. Known as ‘The King of the Deccan’, Jyotiba draws devotees in huge numbers throughout the year.

This will be the first sports event of its kind happening at this sacred place. Participants will experience the unique tradition of 'gulal' (pink coloured sacred powder) turning the whole mountain into a beautiful pink. The event aims to promote running and encourage a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Route Information

The runners will start from the temple area and make their way through a scenic, curvy route. The path is described as having greenery all around, with wide and clean roads.
