The Hyderabad City Slam – Monsoon Run 2026 is the second chapter of Hyderabad’s first-ever year-long Slam running series. Held on August 16th, this professionally organized race brings together runners from across the city for an exciting monsoon running experience. Whether you're continuing your Slam journey after the Summer Edition or starting fresh with the Monsoon Run, this event offers an unforgettable race-day atmosphere, strong community participation, and a rewarding experience for runners of all levels.

Race Categories

The Monsoon Edition features:

• 16.1K Timed Run – Open & Pro (Official Hyderabad City Slam qualifying categories)
• 10K Timed Run
• 5K Fun Run

Note: Only the 16.1K Open and 16.1K Pro categories count toward Hyderabad City Slam qualification. Only participants residing in India are eligible for the Virtual Run category.

Hyderabad City Slam Journey

To become an official Hyderabad City Slam Finisher, participants must complete:

• 10K – Summer Edition
• 16.1K (10 Miles) – Monsoon Edition
• 21.1K – Winter Edition

Participants who completed the Summer Edition 2026 can continue their Slam journey through the Monsoon and Winter Editions. Runners starting their journey with the Monsoon Run can complete the full Slam cycle by participating in the upcoming Winter Edition and the Summer Edition next year. Complete all three and unlock official Hyderabad City Slam Finisher status, a special Hyderabad City Slam medal, and exclusive benefits.

Winner Categories

16.1K Timed – Open (Men & Women)

Age category winners will be recognized in the following groups:

• 18 – 29 yrs
• 30 – 39 yrs
• 40 – 49 yrs
• 50 – 59 yrs
• 60 yrs & above

Note: No cash prizes for 16.1K Open category.

16.1K Timed – Pro (Men & Women)

• Overall winners only
• Cash prizes for Top 3 finishers
• No age category breakdown
