GNATHANG VALLEY VIBRANT VILLAGE MARATHON 2026
One of the prestigious high-altitude marathons in North East India, located in East Sikkim at 13,500 ft, often called the Ladakh of the East.
Mission
To promote the beautiful Organic State of Sikkim and the Vibrant Village Tourism of the place and its surrounding exotic tour circuit, as well as to encourage youth for a healthy life – SAY NO TO DRUGS, SAY NO TO PLASTIC with Responsible Tourism.

Awards
- 42KM, 21KM & 10KM (Open to all categories): Top three position holders will be awarded Hand Picked Finish Time Certificates, Trophy, & Prizes.
- 5KM Fun Run: Top three will be awarded Non-Timed Certificates & Trophy only.
Important Information
- For outsiders, it is preferable to take at least three days of acclimatization prior to the race day.
- For outsiders, an Inner Line Permit (issued from Gangtok) is required.
- A Medical Certificate of fitness is compulsory prior to the race day.
