EKAL RUN Pune Marathon - Edition 4
Powered by Mahesh Industrial Group (MIG) and supported by Mahesh Professional Forum (MPF), this event is an initiative by Ekal Pune Chapter (A wing of Friends of Tribals Society) and Ekal Yuva Samiti. Funds generated will be donated towards education of children in remote rural & tribal areas.

Competitive with Timing Chip
- 42.2 KM (Full Marathon) - Cut off time: 6 hrs
- 21.1 KM (Half Marathon) - Cut off time: 3 hrs 30 min

Corporate Run with Timing Chip

Fun Run (Non-Timed)

Corporate Participation
A Corporate can participate in the Corporate Run with:
- Minimum team size = 10 (for 5 KM Timed Run)
- Minimum team size = 5 (for 10 KM Timed Run)
The Corporate Run will be an inter-company as well as an intra-company competition amongst the participating company and its employees. Employees will receive customized t-shirts and all other individual benefits. In addition to winner certificates for the respective company, the fastest runner within each participating company will also get a winner certificate.

Run to Educate
- Charity Runner: Sponsor the participation of an EKAL student in the run.
- Charity Donation: In addition to your participation, donate an amount to EKAL for charity and support the education of an EKAL student.
Bib & T-Shirt Collection
It is compulsory to collect bib and t-shirt for the run. Participants without a bib will not be allowed to participate. No bibs will be distributed on race day.

Rules & Regulations
- All participants must abide by the rules and regulations of EKAL RUN. The decision of the Race Director and other associates will be final & binding.
- Participants understand and participate at their own personal risk. They must be physically fit and mentally able to participate. Responsibility lies with the participant alone. For minor participants, responsibility resides with parents/guardians.
- Top 3 in each of the competitive running distance categories will be awarded in men's and women's (except Fun Run). Results will be based on time chip.
- Race organizers, sponsors, or any associated entity will NOT be responsible for any theft, damage, or physical injury happening during the race. First aid assistance will be provided as fast as possible in case of emergency.
- Participants are required to obey the rules and regulations laid by the organizers. Non-compliance will result in disqualification.
- No participants will be allowed on the venue without bib numbers. Individual numbered bibs must be worn and visible on the front part of every runner's body. Do not hide bib numbers with clothing.
- All participants must stay on the official marked route. Shortcutting the route, voluntarily or involuntarily, will result in disqualification.
- Participants must not throw trash/rubbish/garbage on the route or in the venue. Use dedicated trash cans only. Keep the environment clean.
- Causing physical harm and injury to any fellow participant will result in straight disqualification.
- By registering, participants give full consent to the medical staff for providing medical treatment during the event.
- Participants agree to pay registration fees in full at the time of registration. There will not be any refund/transfer for paid amounts under any circumstance.
- Participants release and waive EKAL RUN organizers, their volunteers, and partners from liability for all losses, damages, injury, claims, demands, expenses, and any other liability, physical, psychological, or otherwise, directly or indirectly arising out of participation.

EKAL INDIA
Ekal India (https://www.ekal.org/in) is a non-profit organization, established in 1989, on a mission to bring basic education to every child across rural India. Ekal believes the best way to fulfill their mission is to encourage people across the world to embrace their cause. Ekal is active in more than 10 countries around the globe. The main activity undertaken in this movement is to run one-teacher schools (known as Ekal Vidyalayas) all over India, in the remotest rural & tribal villages to take education to every child. As of today, FTS along with its associates are running 45035 Ekal Vidyalayas in India through 37 chapters in 24 states. In Maharashtra alone, 2460 Vidyalayas are run in Wada, Shahada, Nashik, Ghoti, Amravati, Yavatmal, Chandrapur, Gondiya, Nanded and Narayangaon tribal areas. Out of which almost 420 Vidyalayas are in and around Narayangaon near Pune.
